CHEN Feng is a simultaneous interpreter at the UN headquarters in New York. He has been working for the entity since 1991 and provided simultaneous interpreting at over 7,000 conferences or meetings for various international organizations and heads of state. Prior to this position, from 1983 to 1988 Mr. Chen worked at the Chinese embassy to the UK and interpreted for Queen Elizabeth II, Princess Diana, former PM Margaret Thatcher, and many other dignitaries. From 1988 to 1991, he worked at the Department of Translation and Interpretation of China’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, where he interpreted for former Chinese heads of state on various occasions.
