Dr. CUI Qiliang is a distinguished expert at XISU under the “XISU Scholar” project. He is a director and the vice secretary general of the Translators Association of China and the founder of giltworld.com, and who is regarded as one of the researchers and promoters of localization service industry. He is also the secretary general of the Translation Association of China-Localization Service Committee, a member of panel of experts of Language Service Competence Assessment and Training of the Translation Association of China, a member of the Localization Industry Standard of the European Telecommunications Standards Institute, the Deputy Director of the International Language Service and Management Research Institute, and an expert of the International Software Testing Qualification Board, China Branch. He has successively worked in many localization companies renowned at home and abroad, such as the Lionbridge. He currently works as the supervisor of the graduate students in Peking University and UIBE and he is a visiting professor at XISU. He has published many books and theses on software localization.
