Dr. Daniel Glon is an AIIC conference interpreter proficient in English, French, German, and Spanish. He received his PhD from École Supérieure d'Interprètes et de Traducteurs–Université Sorbonne Nouvelle–Paris 3. His research interests include terminology, computer-aided translation, and conference interpreting. His publications appear in many international journals. He has worked for the Canadian government, the EU and many other international organizations. He has involved in the preparation and translation of the documents of the IOC and various hosting countries of more than ten Olympic Games. Dr. Glon has also taught conference interpreting, simultaneous interpreting, consecutive interpreting, sight translation, business translation, technical translation, translation of legal texts, terminology, and multilingual interpreting at the Monterey Institute of International Studies, Université de Provence, and Beijing Language and Culture University.
