Dr. XU Jun (许钧) is a distinguished adjunct professor at XISU under the “XISU Scholar” project. Professor XU Jun is a PhD supervisor at the School of Foreign Studies of Nanjing University, and a Changjiang Scholar recognized by China’s Ministry of Education (MoE). He serves as the executive vice president of the Translators Association of China (TAC), chair of the Disciplinary Review Panel on Foreign Language and Culture under the State Council Academic Degree Committee, and vice chairman of the China National Committee on MTI Education. He is on the editorial board with more than 10 academic journals including META, Babel, Foreign Language Teaching and Research, and the Chinese Translators Journal. He has published seven books, more than 200 papers on literature and translation studies, and more than 30 classics of French literature and social science in translation. He was laurelled as the “1999 Officier dans l'Ordre des Palmes Académiques” by the French government. He is a recipient of the Special Contribution Award 2012 from TAC.
