Li Rui (李睿), Teaching Assistant. Ms. Li Rui came to STS in 2009. She has a wide range of academic interests. Her areas of expertise lie in translation and interpreting teaching and practice, especially translation and interpreting in the fields of finance, and business and cross-border e-commerce. Courses recently taught at STS include Fundamentals of Business Translation, Cross-border E-commerce Copy-writing and Translation, Business Text Analysis and Application and Fundamentals of Finance. She also served as a freelance translator for Shanghai Municipal Government, IBM, Greek Embassy and Upstream Asia. She graduated from Shanghai International Studies University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in English Language and Literature in 2007 and a Master of Arts degree in Translation Studies from Graduate Institute of Interpreting and Translation, Shanghai International Studies University in 2009. From 2012 to 2013, she served as a Fulbright Foreign Language Teaching Assistant at Kenyon College, Ohio, USA.
